Dubbed the civil trial of the century, the family of Michael Jackson sued the mega concert promoter AEG Live for over $1 billion dollars. The plaintiff alleged that AEG was responsible for the death of Michael Jackson, due to Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, being hired to be part of Jackson's concert tour. A verdict for the plaintiff would not only have been potentially financially devastating, but it would have also set up future liability for all concert promoters. ATS worked closely with the defense team to ensure a complete defense verdict.
